Gibraltar.

The Prinsendam finally left Cadiz around 9pm last night without any further hiccups and today we arrived in overcast Gibraltar.

I wasn't assigned a tour so the environmental officer's wife (Reina) and I headed out into Gibraltar to explore a little bit.  Unfortunately while we were out and about it started to rain.  We ended up sitting in a café to wait out the downpour, having a nice mug of hot chocolate to console ourselves.  Eventually the rain cleared and we were able to have a short walk around town before it started to rain again.  Reina and I needed to get a few things from a supermarket; but where??  We found a supermarket by using an app (MapsMe) on my mobile phone, and discovered that the supermarket was outside the walled city, a good 20 minutes walk from where we were.  Fortunately it was in the direction of the ship, near the waterfront, so we weren't exactly going out of our way.

We finally got back to the ship a bit damp but rather pleased with ourselves.

Unfortunately we just missed a glass blowing session!
