Just Chilling

One of our 'friends' hoping for a few
crumbs - a regular visitor.

Today we decided not to go out, so we did a load of laundry and spent some time beside the lake.  Unfortunately we discovered that we were out of food and liquids so we had to put on clothes and head out to the nearest grocery shop just around the other side of the lake.  We decided to chance our luck by driving along the south part of the lake, following a narrow road which became a track.  There were no signs to say we weren't allowed however we got to an area that was being logged - and there was a 'Keep Out' sign for motorists.  Too late - we were already there!  So we carried on.  We think the loggers must have thought we were mad or idiot tourists.

We wanted to go back to the campsite but not really 'just yet'so we looked at the map and did a circular route which took us to a beautiful blue lake - Wörthersee - and around it.  The lake was very busy with all sorts of activities going on.

Back to the campsite we headed and hit the lake with a pool noodle each (which we purchased despite the highly over-inflated prices).  Aaaaahhhhh, it was good to cool off and float in the lake.
