We hit the road again, looking at the road map and deciding to follow the green-marked roads. Again we went through the Czech Republic and saw some beautiful areas with deer and again moorland-like areas between forest areas. At one point we saw 2 birds playing on the wing - perhaps courtship of some sorts?. As we continued our journey we also saw areas that were not as pretty as the day before. When we got to Sokolov we couldn't wait to get out of the area and back into Germany.
Across the border we started to relax again and enjoyed the scenery, passing near Oberer Bayerischer Wald, arriving at Pension Schatzkisterl near Zweisel. It was a lovely guest house next to a farm where we made friends with the pig 'Emile', goats and sheep. Emile comes running when his name is called. Sweet!
