Boston, Massachusetts

Apart from taking on guests whilst in New York, Boston is another turn around port with most guests getting off and on.  From now on until towards the end of September the Maasdam will be sailing a regular 7 day cruise up to Montreal, Quebec, and then a 7 day cruise back down to Boston.  The ports will be:  Halifax (Nova Scotia), Sydney (Nova Scotia), Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island),sea day, Qubec City (Quebec) and Montreal (Quebec); and back again.  Towards the end of September the ship will head to San Diego and then across the Pacific.

Paul will have about 2 runs up to Montreal and back to Boston before his leave starts.

I had a long nap this afternoon, interrupted by the emergency muster drill alarms but managed to fall asleep again. My dreams were strange - swimming but I'd lost my bikini in the swimming pool and was trying to find it under water, and there was a chap swimming in his KILT 😳. I say no more!

We’ve had a very nice surprise this evening, friends previously working on the Maasdam are back again.  I'm looking forward to catching up with them again as and when they have time.

Sailing to Bar Harbour now.
