San Antonio, Chile. Excursion: Easy San Antonio & Village by the Sea.

It was good to get out and about after a sea day yesterday.   The cooler weather is starting to kick in now that we are quite a bit further south, and staff had to start wearing their winter uniforms.

The tour group I was with had a nice drive out to El Totoral, past fishing port, the Church of San Antonio, out into the countryside through forest and along the “Coast of Poets”.

At El Totoral we could have a wander around the small wooden church & craft market.  Not many craft stalls were open open though.

Near Algarrobo we got a view of the world's largest swimming pool - until recent times.  Although it was from a distance - it was huge!  Then it was time for refreshments at El Quisco yacht club before heading back to the ship.  We were also treated to a short traditional dance performance, at the yacht club, by father and daughter.  It was really lovely and well done.

It's been a nice, very easy day, with a mixture of sightseeing, craft market and wine combined.

When I got back to the ship I was in time to see the staff preparing the ship with decorations for a Chilean event.
