Charco del Palo Naturist Village

We are staying at a naturist village (Charco del Palo) on the north east coast.  The village was established around 1970 by a German entrepreneur,  Gregor Kaiser.

The accommodation complex (part of the OBÖNA Resort) we are in has nice grassy lawn and a small swimming pool.  We are on the ground floor.  Each building has 2 flats, one on the upper level and one at ground level.  Our apartment, on the ground floor, has two bedrooms, a tiny kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower.  Unfortunately there is no bath - a pity because I do like having a bath now and then.

The Atlantic Ocean is within walking distance, just down the road.  The day was nice and sunny so we took a walk along the coastline and around the village.  I had to be careful I wasn't out in the sun too long because I forgot to put sunscreen on.   There are two tidal pools on the shores of the village where people can swim safely, or relax nearby.  The area is a nice hot spot for scuba diving and we saw groups of people preparing for dives. The water was chilly so we didn't swim.  There are also restaurants, pubs and a small supermarket.

It is wonderful to feel completely free, without clothes, and without being judged.  A wonderful way to live.
